Hi Loves! I’m Brooke. With a love and passion for sustainable textiles and clothing made with devotion, I created my business Sown of the Earth, where I hand dye & sew garments made from organic linen, plant dyes, and organic cotton thread.

One thing led to another.. and Earth and Kin has been born as my in person shop, studio, and community space.

Located in the heart of Northfield MN, with the cutest view of the river, the smell of cookies that wafts over the town, and the romance that is found here.. I have found my true home.

The shop has Sown of the Earth originals, up-cycled plant dyed clothing, vintage finds, plant dyes & extracts, yarn, goods made from people in our community, and more.

Everything you will find in the shop is sustainable and made of 100% natural fibers.
